This building is equipped with the following fire/life safety systems:
Fire Alarm Pull Stations
If you spot smoke or fire, pull down on the fire alarm pull station located at each stair exit. This manually alerts the central fire alarm control panel and triggers the alarm to sound.
Smoke Detectors
Located in the ceiling throughout Tenant spaces and corridors. When activated, triggers the alarm to sound and automatically alerts the central fire alarm control panel.
Sprinklers
Sprinkler heads, installed on all floors will activate in the event of a fire.
Elevators
In the event of a fire, the elevators are programmed to go to the first floor and remain inoperable until the fire department keys them to manual use. Please do not attempt to use the elevators in the event of a fire alarm. Use the stairs to exit out of the building.
Stairwells/Exiting
There are two stairwells in the office building for exiting. Stairwell #1 exits to Alakea Street and Stairwell #2 exits to the alleyway between Alakea and Richards Streets.
There are two stairwells in the parking garage. Stairwell #1 exits to Alakea Street and Stairwell #3 exits to the alleyway between Alakea and Richards Streets.
Emergency Lighting
In case of a power outage, emergency lighting will be activated.
Fire Doors
All exit doors at stairwells are fire rated doors. Please do not prop open.
Central Fire Alarm Control Panel
The building fire/life safety systems are monitored by the security company and Avison Young personnel. In the event of any alarm, they will contact the fire department.
